The European Union was caught off-guard by the ice. Most European countries have beem wiped clean by the expanding glaciers, driven by the need to survive the EU launched an evacuation to Africa against the Pan Asian Coalition. After loosing Europe, the EU had better outcomes in Africa, allowing them to keep a strong foothold on the Mediterranean border. However, the PAC seized the remaining assests in Europe with no resistance, therefore leading the EU to launch their Northern Strike Campaign in 2145.
Though they are slightly less technologically advanced than the PAC, their vehicles and weapons are generally more powerful. However there are differences such as the the lack of hover technology for their tanks, and slower fire rates of their weapons. The EU weapons are, however, slightly more powerful. The prefect example of slow but powerful is the new A-3 Goliath.
