The RD-4 Otus is a long-range reconnaissance drone used to identify the location and movement of enemy forces. Has an effect similar to a UAV, but with a much smaller range.
This is a Squad Leader level 2 unlock
Your squad has to have at least you and 2 more soldiers in it for you to be able to deploy this unlock.
The Otus sends out a radar about every 5 seconds that draws red diamonds on screen, much like the DysTek Pulse Meter. Also like the Pulse Meter, it does not draw the units on the minimap, nor does it identify unit type. However, unlike the Pulse Meter, it is not directional, and scans a full 360 degrees.
